Privacy notice
Who we are
MoveNear is a directory of removals companies in England. The data controller is [company name and address to be added].
What we collect
- Partner applications: company name, base postcode, service radius, email, phone number and whether you hold insurance.
- Technical data: a salted one-way hash of your network address, used only to limit abuse. We do not store your raw address.
- Requests: your name, phone, email, postcodes, move details, moving date and notes. They are shared only with the companies you choose, and contact details are released to a company after it approves.
- Email: we send service emails about your request and your replies.
- Bot check: the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes browser data to tell people from bots.
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies.
Why we use it
To review your application, contact you about it, and protect the service from abuse. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request, and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
How long we keep it
Applications and requests are kept for up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them.
Who we share it with
Cloudflare, which hosts the site and database, and Resend, which delivers our emails. Companies you choose receive your request details. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use. Email [privacy email to be added]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
